AeroWorxApps (trading as 1D Aerobatics Pty Ltd) operates the PAAX mobile application (the "App"). We are committed to protecting the privacy of our users and the visitors who check into locations utilizing our software.
This Privacy Policy explains how the App collects, uses, handles, and protects personal information in strict compliance with the Google Play Developer Program Policies.
1. Information Collection and Personal/Sensitive Data Types
To fulfill its core purpose as a visitor management solution, PAAX collects the following personal and sensitive user data types:
Names: Collected from visitors during the check-in process to document who is on the premises.
Phone Numbers: Collected to verify identity, manage site safety, and provide emergency contact capabilities.
Email Addresses: Collected for documentation, host notification, and digital visitor logs.
Photos: Collected via the device's camera for the purpose of visitor identification and security badge generation.
2. Data Processing Architecture: Local-First Storage
Unlike typical cloud-reliant systems, PAAX utilizes a local-first data architecture to prioritize user privacy and data sovereignty.
On-Device Storage: All visitor records, including Names, Phone Numbers, Email Addresses, and Photos, are processed locally and stored securely on the host device within an encrypted database layout.
No Central Server Harvesting: We do not own, maintain, or rent central servers to harvest or aggregate visitor information. We do not have access to the data input into your instance of the App.
3. User-Initiated Scheduled Exports (Data Transmission)
The data collected by the App is only transmitted off the physical device under the following strict conditions:
Scheduled Actions: The user (the local facility manager/administrator) may configure a "Scheduled Send" feature within the App to compile visitor records into a CSV or PDF file.
User-Designated Endpoints: These compiled data exports are securely transmitted directly from the device via email (using user-configured SMTP protocols) or API to endpoints specified entirely by the administrator.
No Unauthorised Transfers: No visitor data is ever transmitted to us or any third-party marketing networks.
4. Purposes of Data Collection and Processing
All data collection is restricted to purposes reasonably expected by the user and is utilized solely for:
App Functionality: Executing the primary purpose of the App, which is managing building security, tracking visitor metrics, and recording site attendance logs.
Fraud Prevention, Security, and Compliance: Providing local administrators with an audit trail to satisfy safety, emergency evacuation, and security compliance protocols.
5. Third-Party Sharing and Sales Prohibition
No Sale of Data: We do not sell, rent, or trade any personal or sensitive data collected through the App under any circumstances.
No Analytics Tracking: The App does not integrate invasive third-party ad networks or data broker SDKs that quietly harvest visitor information.
6. Data Security and Cryptography
We employ modern cryptographic security practices to protect all localized data. Any data transmitted via user-initiated scheduled tasks is enforced using secure protocols (such as HTTPS or SSL/TLS email delivery mechanisms) to prevent interception in transit.
7. Data Retention, Accountability, and Deletion
Administrative Control: Because data is stored locally, the local App administrator maintains ultimate control over data retention.
Data Deletion Mechanism: Administrators can purge individual entries or execute a full database wipe directly from the settings interface of the App.
Account Deletion: If you wish to request a total removal of data associated with your usage, you can simply uninstall the app or wipe the App storage data through your Android System Settings, which instantly deletes the local database.

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this document.
